COMACOE is pleased to announce the receipt of award for Sea water Filtration and Intake System from Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL) for LPG Import Terminal, Paradip
IOCL has constructed LPG Marketing Terminal at Paradip, Orissa in order to store and distribute LPG production of IOCL Refinery at Paradip. Now, IOCL is planning to set up new LPG import terminal within the above set-up Marketing Terminal premises. In order to meet the requirements, IOCL is also planning to install two Marine loading arms at South Oil jetty, to take Propane & Butane from Ship.
Each consignment of refrigerated liquid propane at -42°C and Butane at -4°C is planned to be unloaded from VLGC ship (45000 MT capacities) at a rate of 1200 MT/hr (max.) with the help of two numbers of marine unloading arms on south oil jetty & booster pumps located adjacent to Jetty area. The refrigerated Propane & Butane is planned to be heated to 5°C by sea water in shell and tube exchangers. Thereafter, heated Propane and Butane is planned to be transferred to mounded storage bullets located at terminal through two 16” cross country underground pipelines. This project is to build the required Sea Water Intake and Filteration system to provide the seawater required for heating the refrigerated product. The scope includes detailed engineering, procurement and supply of materials and consumables and mandatory spares, fabrication, erection, testing, insulation, making new hook-up/tie-in connections with existing facilities.
